We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for your support as we embark on a crucial mission to restore our Hollywood Club, LA (@The Woman’s Club of Hollywood).

Since 1905, the Woman’s Club, (known as The Heart of Hollywood) has provided a home for the arts, education, and celebrating Hollywood history. The Club supports veterans and serves the community’s philanthropy needs; however, the state of our current facilities is at a critical point and we urgently need renovations.

The club’s income mostly comes from film, TV and commercial filming rentals. But in 2020, the Covid-19 lockdown
closed the club for almost two years. Rental income and club events stopped. May, 2023 the Writers’ and Actors’ strike once again curtailed all filming rentals.

Determined Club members and supporters have been working on a re-branding campaign, a new launch as the HOLLYWOOD CLUB LA, a rental venue – bringing in fresh ideas and a new business approach to rebuild financially. However, the Club really needs your help with restoration and new operating costs. As a National Historic Landmark and Cultural Monument (#604) the 77-year-old building needs urgent repair.

1. Renovate Essential Areas: We need to paint the building and pave the parking lot
2. Enhance Safety and Security: We need to invest in state-of-the-art security measures and safety features to create a secure environment for our staff, volunteers, and community members.
3. Upgrade Infrastructure: The building’s infrastructure is aging, and we need to update key systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

We will publicly acknowledge donors in our communications, our website, and our lobby Wall of Fame.

Together, we can save an historic Hollywood Landmark and continue the legacy for future generations!
